Mission Zero Fest

The Mission Zero Fest: 2012 Water Hill is being held in the 700 block of Fountain Street, Ann Arbor, June 9th and 10th 2012. The event is Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Focusing on local solutions to global problems, Mission Zero Fest seeks to demonstrate examples of low impact living and methods of carbon footprint reduction. A wide range of speakers will be at the event giving talks on a variety of environmental issues including Climate Change (Dr. Henry Pollack) and Restorative Homes (Matt Grocoff).

Recycle Ann Arbor will be coordinating recycling for the event. Kendra Pyle from RAA will be conducting a workshop on Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 9th. There will also be workshops on bicycle maintenance and rain gardens amongst others.
